What kind of web applications do you build?
I build custom web applications of all sizes - from focused single-purpose tools (booking systems, calculators, reporting dashboards) to fully-featured platforms with user management, complex data models, and multiple integrations. If it runs in a browser and needs a backend, I can build it.
What technology stack do you use?
My primary stack is React/Next.js for the frontend and Node.js with TypeScript for the backend, with PostgreSQL or SQLite for data storage. This stack is modern, well-maintained, and produces fast, maintainable applications. I'll always discuss the best approach for your specific requirements.
How do web apps differ from regular websites?
A website is primarily informational - it presents content to visitors. A web application is interactive - it processes data, allows users to perform actions, manages accounts and state, and typically has a backend with a database. The boundary between the two is blurry, but if you're thinking 'I need users to be able to log in and do something', that's a web application.
Can you build something to replace our spreadsheet-based process?
